Life Lessons

Lately I have been M.I.A. I do admit but some changes have taken place in my life and I have lost track of everything.

I am now a first year student, what I am implying by saying this is that I have been studying constantly.

When you are a culinary student something that can not be skipped is knife skill lessons, and this is what my featured image is show casing. I definitely have a long way to go but starting the journey is all that matters at this moment.

Stay tuned for some more pictures in the future, I promise they will be amazing!!

The tree tops.

There was a trend that was going around called an insta meet last year. I think “trend” is the wrong word to use and it might still be happening.

An insta meet is when a whole group of people gather at a certain location to take pictures. Although photography is just something I dabble in from time to time, my brother and I decided to go.

Upon arrival we were assigned with a task to take pictures incorporating a pair of glasses. Naturally, I decided to take a picture of the glasses in a tree.

This was a cool experience but maybe I should up my photography game.

The end of a chapter..

Today I finished high school, officially. It was the day that I received my results. Although I should be happy I have finished high school I sort of feel like this trolley.

Not knowing my place in the world.

Although I have been accepted into the course I will be doing this year, I still have thoughts as to whether or not I will enjoy what I am doing for the rest of my life.

I suppose that’s what life is about, living and taking the plunge.

Die Ou Tronk!

This is by far one of my favourite places to visit!!

It is one of those places that tells a story just from one glance at every angle. Die Ou Tronk is located in the small town of Riversdal in the Western Cape.

As it says in the title it is an old jail that has been converted into a restaurant with little shops in each jail cell.

This is just a view of inside the jail grounds.

The Seaview Lion Park 2016

This photo was taken at The Seaview Lion Park this year, by me. I try my best to do some photography when I have the chance. It is something I enjoy doing and I’m sure you will be seeing a lot more of it soon.

I love this picture for the simple reason that I love giraffes.

We arrived at The Lion Park just in time to witness the “feeding” of the Lions. This was interesting to watch how they eat and interact with each other while eating.

We need to stop forgetting to take care of our beautiful animals and world!
